Es war dies kein Geringerer als Furst Johann Moritz von nassau-siegen, Statthalter von Kleve, dem zur Unterst�tzung der hervorragendste unter den brandenburgischen Diplomaten, Daniel Weimann, beigegeben worden: ein Beweis, wie wichtig der Kurf�rst diese Mission nahm. Die Herren sollten dem K�nig, der Witwer war, eine Verm�hlung mit der Kurf�rstin Schwester, Prinzessin Maria von Oranien, vorschlagen, auch seine Dazwischen kunft zu Gunsten der verfolgten Evangelischen in j�lich-berg erbitten.
