The number of Members is 317, viz.: Annual, 218; Life, 95 Honorary, 4. During the year 23 Members have been elected, viz 19 Annual and 4 Life. By death, the Society has lost 7 Members, viz.: 3 Annual and 4 Life. By resignation, 12 Members. Gain over loss, 4.
The Council desires to point out that the early and punctual payment of subscriptions is absolutely necessary in order to enable the work of the Society to be carried out. An increase in the number of Members is also very desirable, as the loss by death and resignation has been unusually heavy this year.
