We dare cite Mr. Hve/i as an inhance, who, though far Hom a perfeé't painter, was entitled to more refpect from ou'r author. His head: work was, lyric odes on the fame fubjeé't, with the fame feverity and humour, and, we are afraid, with the fame want of candor.
