While from an adult's point of view there are now many admirable text-books on the subject, my attention was only comparatively recently called to the fact, that, from a child's standpoint, there is no work vivid, detailed or practical enough, to make so lively an impression that its teachings will ever after form part of the daily life of the recipient, and rise spectre-like whenever he or she is confronted by the temptation to violate any of the fundamental laws of health or morality.
