Black, dull, very elongate-oval. Head lanceolate, thrice as long as the fore lobe of the prothorax; ante-ocular part twice as long as the post ocular. First joint of the antenna stout, shorter than the head, much longer than the second. Prothorax red, with rounded and not prominent angles. Fore lobe as long as the hind lobe, convex on each side of the longitudinal furrow. Legs red; femora and four posterior tibia-3 black above; fore tibiae with a black band. Length of the body 4% lines.
