Für wieviel Leser ich klar und überzeugend spreche, weiß ich nicht. Beim Arbeiten freilich hatte ich durchweg das Gefühl: es müsse das von mir Dargelegte dem Leser einleuchten. Aber ich kenne die in solchem Vertrauen liegende Selbsttäuschung nur zu gut. So scheide ich denn von meiner Arbeit lieber lediglich mit dem Gefühl der Befriedigung darüber, daß ich mir den er kenntnistheoretischen Bau, in dem ich seit langer Zeit wohne, für mich selber gereinigt, befestigt, erweitert habe.
