Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Seeking After God
There are a great many Americans whom this paragraph aptly describes. They are seeking satisfaction, not in finding their right place, but in finding a higher or what they think is a better place. But it is not true that there is not one of them who conceives that he has a place fitted to his nature, right and the only right for him. If this were true there would be no re ligion in America; for religion consists in seeking to find our true relation to God the centre of life, and so to our fellow-men. The Object of this book is to help those who are, consciously or unconsciously, seeking for this centre and for their own true orbit and place, and so for peace, - the peace of God that passeth all understanding.
