In it, these eminent educators declare that the value of music for the educative process is especially evident in the teaching of religion. There are few forms of worship, they say, in which singing does not appear as an important element; and even where liturgical practice has been reduced to a minimum, the hymn or some similar composition has been quite generally retained.
