Publisher's Synopsis
The author, Michael Brooke Fisher, wrote this book decades ago after reading a novel by the popular legal thriller writer John Grisham. With no disrespect to Grisham, he felt he could write something equally as good and took on the self-imposed challenge. Using his experience as both a criminal defense attorney and later as the Prosecutor of one of New Jersey's twenty-one counties he wrote To Kill or Not to Kill. A Los Angeles agency showed interest in acquiring screenplay rights to the unpublished novel but ultimately, that did not come to pass. At the same time the author was appointed to a State Superior Court Judgeship, making the publication of the novel with its subject matter less than appropriate. So he put it in a desk drawer and put it out of his mind. Since then he has left the bench, the novel has been published and he now welcomes people to read To Kill or Not to Kill.
