It examines the following periods of art: Mesopotamia, art of ancient Egypt, history of Chinese art, J mon period, Scythian art, Etruscan art, Celtic art, Norse art, Visigothic art and architecture, art in ancient Greece, Hellenistic art, and Roman art. Arts of the ancient world refers to the many types of art that were in the cultures of ancient societies, such as those of ancient China, India, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome. Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge.
