Publisher's Synopsis
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. This is an exploration of the military roles France, Spain, and Germany played in the American Revolution. France entered the American Revolutionary War in 1778 and assisted in the victory of the Americans seeking independence from Britain. Spain actively supported the Thirteen Colonies throughout the American Revolutionary War beginning in 1776. Ethnic Germans served on both sides of the American Revolutionary War. Many supported the Loyalist cause and served as allies of Great Britain, others came to assist the rebelling American patriots, but most of the patriot Germans were colonists. Includes a bonus chapter on diplomacy in the American Revolutionary War. Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge.
