The Evolution-Creationism controversy pits science against religious belief and scientific proof against faith and God. The discrepancies draw a line in the sand but some believe there is a progressive view that allows for scientific evolution to reconcile with sacred religious truths. This book explores creationism including the history and the differing schools of thought. Also included are the creation sciences, as well as the concepts of theistic evolution and evolutionary creationism that assert that classical religious teachings about God are compatible with the modern scientific understanding about biological evolution. Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge.
