Publisher's Synopsis
Only one dragon poses a problem for Jax. As the son of a dragon trainer, Jax is better than most when it comes to dragons, even his soon-to-be-brother-in-law says so. However, his knowledge is not enough to keep him out of trouble. While on an errand for his family, he goes against his better judgment. The consequences could be disastrous with an unknown ability surfacing alongside a forgotten creature. Jax thinks his mind is playing tricks on him, but what he discovers has the potential to affect much more than just his mind. Everything he knows can change in the snap of a dragon's jaw. Inner war mimics his outward struggles as he fights to understand what is happening to the world he has known and save the newly discovered part of himself from perishing.
