When Juliette answers a mail-order bride ad, she doesn't realize the groom-to-be didn't post it. Stranded, she persuades the reluctant groom to give her a "test run"...She promises to cook and clean for him in exchange for a place to stay for the time being. Agreeing to the temporary set-up, Blake doesn't see any future with Juliette. They are polar opposites in personality and he thinks that she will be on the first train out of town when it arrives. Blake soon realizes that Juliette may be the answer to his dreams...even the ones he never admitted to himself.
