Integrated in Buffalo LossLiterary Arts Trains were used to rid the world of buffalo as tracks were laid across America. Ending ancient food supply for many animals, health of nature, and food and textiles, for indigenous peoples. The magical creatures of God, these magnificent animals roamed freely across most of what is now America. Their dark cloudy shapes covered the prairie for as far as the eye could see. The buffalo helped shape the prairies with giant buffalo mounds, places the buffalo helped carve out of the wilderness, small refuge areas like miniature ponds dotting much of prairie areas. The Native American people depended on the buffalo as a source for homes, heat, food, blankets and clothing, as well as many other things. The intent that the buffalo should be eliminated came down from the corrupt rulers of the land based in the eastern part of America and Europe. Kill the buffalo, brought in assassins to destroy nearly all the buffalo in the world. The native peoples were now without their source of lively hood, which was the achieved outcome desired by the perpetrators.
