Publisher's Synopsis
Elijah was a prophet of Old Testament Israel. He walked up to the King's face and told him he was an idolater. He then proceeded to tell 850 false prophets in a mountain that he alone knew God, and they did not. How offensive was this to 850 devout religionists who believed they were in right standing with God? Elijah became the most wanted man after he did what he did, and he spent a lot of time in the desert in isolation, living in caves, etc. But he had God with him. Elijah is a picture of what true Christianity is all about.
