This is a story of a family as told by Miss Kitty. Some members have four legs. Some have two. Some have fur, some do not. Each one came into the family in a different manner, but each is a valued member of this home. Their lives aren't perfect. They've even lost one of their own. Yet, they all continue to live in one house, with one grandmother. They know how much she loves them, and this is their story. This book lets children know that they deserve love, a sense of safety, and to have their basic needs met. Sometimes when the family one is born into is unable to supply these needs, children need to have hope that there are people out there who are willing to provide them a real home.
