Publisher's Synopsis
The final installment to Five the Hard Way and Stronghold comes to a halting crash as the heroes of New York fight off Mister Sinister and his creation. Manhattan is soon covered with the virus created by Sinister and his men in hope to start a new ultimate mutant army. With the help of Brick Spirit and his vampires their goals appear to be obtainable. Spirit remains close at his side to make sure their mission is completed.While Frank Castle and Captain America fight in Germany the war in America continues. It doesn't take long before Dr. Strange makes a surprising appearance. He warns them of a powerful presence that keeps Sinister and Spirit safe from harm. After agreeing to follow the heroes into Manhattan they soon learn that being outnumbered is the least of their problems. Tony Stark finds himself suddenly partners with Forge as they work on a solution to safe Manhattan. The only two men ready for battle are Blade and the Ghost Rider. Sinister, his men, and his secret weapon would soon be working overtime to fight off the heroes. Charles Xavier shared a few words with an old friend in hopes to assist in the downfall of their enemy. With time running out the heroes knew this was their last chance of survival.
