Reagan Lister has worked hard to become one of the best lawyers in a prestigious New York firm. For her latest case, she must prove that a senator's son is not guilty of a murder and if she is successful, it would be a major step for her in becoming a partner. Then her boss drops a bombshell: he's bringing in Greg Pilster to help, a hotshot lawyer whom Reagan wants nothing to do with. After giving him a frosty reception, Reagan suddenly finds herself needing Greg's help as she is targeted in a series of events that has her worrying more about her own life than the outcome of the trial. The danger and adventures bring them closer together and Reagan realizes that Greg, who she thought was her enemy, is winning her heart.
