Publisher's Synopsis
Two worlds, Tvora - human and mundane, and Odessa - powerful and full of magic, have been connected by fate since the beginning of time. The doorway between the planets was sealed to end the bloodshed between the two worlds and travel across the stars halted. When humans begin to mysteriously disappear a looming war threatens to consume both planets once again.
Orphans Ocean and Blake, one a woman with unstable abilities and the other a human tracker, have only each other to rely on in the harsh climate of Tvora. When they are taken by their tyrannical leaders and separated, they will stop at nothing to reunite, even if it means Ocean becoming something she never wanted to be.
On the planet Odessa there is no line Fae chief Keanyn won't cross to protect his clan from annihilation, especially after the assassination of his father. Though he accomplished a great feat in becoming the youngest Fae Clan Chief in history, the other clan leaders feel he is not qualified to rule. Even if it may be their only chance at survival from the mutation plaguing their lands.
With Ocean, Keanyn and Blake fighting their own battles on both planets, dark secrets are revealed despite centuries of intricately crafted lies. They start to wonder if the barrier across the stars was ever sealed at all. It turns out the two planets aren't as separate as they are meant to be.
