Publisher's Synopsis
Dare was spending the weekend with his grandma and grandpa because his parents were at the hospital preparing to bring home a special surprise. When they arrived, they were not alone-they brought with them Dare's new baby brother, Alex. Dare was very curious about Alex, but first he needed to give his mommy and daddy big hugs to show them how much he'd missed them. Next, Dare turned his attention to Alex. For someone so little, Alex sure was loud! He cried and screamed, but he settled into life at home quickly. Dare loved helping Mommy and Daddy with Alex. He would help feed him and change him. As Alex grew day by day, so did his abilities. Soon, Alex was able to watch Dare and play with him on the mat on the living room floor. If only Alex knew how to listen, too, then maybe he'd understand that toys aren't for putting in your mouth.
Short Tales of the Wood Brothers tells the story of how a family of three grew to be four, and how Dare learned to be the best big brother to baby Alex. For little ones about to be big sisters and brothers, learn alongside Dare how to be a welcoming and helpful sibling to the new babies in your families.
