Publisher's Synopsis

This book is an abstract of the recent situation of Iran from social, economical and political point of view, in which I have tried to present a short report of the usual conditions and problems of the country. Despite the general depression and hopelessness in today's society of Iran, there have been always myriads of questions in our minds: Why there is no system in our country? Why mortality statistics from driving accidents are so high? Why do we waste most of our time? Why politicians don't do anything for inflation, unemployment, poverty, and addiction to drugs? Why in the 21th century, in an era which Pope Francis (leader of the Catholic Church, one of the strictest religious sects) listens to the opposites ideas, even denial of the otherworld, in our unfortunate land the critics and people who think differently from any guild and with any orientation, will be convicted to heathenish beliefs and disturbing the national security and will be sent to jail? In this book, I have studied the outcomes of Iran's revolution in 1979 and as a result the Islamic republic from general economical, political and social dimensions and tried to objectively write today's situation of Iran in the hope that someday in the near future, we can live in a free country and also I wish I would not be a reporter of destruction for the next generations.
