Fresh out of school Jack is all set for the best summer of his life: visiting Ricafa, hanging out with the world's best joker, Daltrey, and working at Finnegan Donegan's antique store. Sadly, none of Jack's summer plans come true. For starters, Jack gets dragged on a vacation he didn't really want to go on. But, here's the thing with going somewhere you didn't want to go in the first place: you might just end up on the best adventure of your life.
Soon, Jack finds himself on crazy adventures in ancient Rome with great gladiators, mysterious tunnels and very, very powerful Roman emperors. Before long, Jack stumbles upon a real life international criminal gang that wants to destroy Rome. What's Jack to do? Can he save the entire city? It's hard to say but joining forces with a fat, jolly Roman cab driver might help.
And, might Jack finally convince the FBI he's not a criminal and he needs the FBI's help to save Rome? He might.
