Caralee Trenton owns an extreme outdoor adventure company and spends her days pushing people to their limits in the rugged Rocky Mountains. The unexpected death of her Nana forces Lee to face challenges of her own when she must return to Eden Grove, Mississippi and settle Nana's estate. She hasn't been there in years but resolves to get in, get the job done, and get back to her business as quickly as possible. A dose of Southern hospitality, however, complicates her plans when the whole town steps in to help. Lee never expected childhood friend John Hunter to be one of them; she hasn't seen him in 20 years and his presence dredges up painful memories. As Lee sorts through both Nana's estate and her own confused emotions, Nana's lingering spirit shadows her granddaughter. Worried that history will repeat itself, Nana fears Lee is doomed to travel her same lonely path. Determined to save her granddaughter from this fate, Nana decides to stir up a mess of trouble in Lee's ordered plans. Lee now faces the greatest obstacle in her life. Will she let past wounds determine her future or have the to courage to grasp at the promise of something new?
