Publisher's Synopsis
When a giant sunflower tree fell to earth on 12.13.13, people were propelled to a barren land-the land of the invisible enemy. Tola was the first person to open her eyes, and was astounded when she found herself encased in a tan substance. Even the grass, trees, and their leaves were all covered in tan. Tola stumbled across the stranger while trying to return to civilization. But in their quest to locate others, they discovered their first unconscious person from Chest Hazel. The body lifted into the air and floated towards the trees, and attached itself to one of its branches. They soon realized that the leaves were not leaves at all, but individuals. The people were attacked by the invisible enemy, and the fighting was fierce.
