Publisher's Synopsis
A compelling children's picture book from a World War II setting when toys were not readily available. The child in the story is very fond of a "hand-me-down" teddy bear that has no eyes and begins to fantasize by describing images to the bear. On a visit to Grandma's house, Grandma sews two black buttons on the old bear's face and the child is elated as he begins to show Ted Bear all of the things he has been telling him about.
