There are levels of payer. It is one thing to pray and another thing to pray (at) another level of prayer. As a matter of fact, no prayer is ordinary. When you pray another level of prayer, you get another level of result, and when you pray ordinary prayers, you get ordinary results. Another level of prayer transcends and supersedes the laws of nature. God is a God of plan, regularity and power. We call His normal way of working "Laws of Nature." Lower laws serve the purpose for higher laws and when harmonized, they are transcended by higher laws. The laws in the Bible and life can transcend the law governing matter. These in turn may serve the laws of psychology. Moral laws transcend physical laws, and another level of prayer which is spiritual law transcends them all; even the law of gravity.
