Ten years ago, Nick Simmons was abruptly discharged from Army Special Operations after the rest of his unit were killed during a botched drug bust in South America. The shadowy Felix hires Nick to perform jobs requiring his particular brand of skills, but, inexplicably, Nick soon finds himself the primary suspect in four murders. On his release from jail he recounts his story to Wanda Moore, and as his conversations progress, all of the old demons Nick has been wrestling for the last decade slowly come back into the light.
