The Gwitch'in Quest people of North Fork depend on the caribou for their food. This year the herd fails to migrate south, and the village is threatened. Two 10-year-olds follow a dangerous search for the lost caribou herd, travelling through Canada's North, surviving the terror of white water and the cold of the Arctic, to face the mysterious Raven Boy.
