After ten years, Kirk David returns to Walnut Grove seeking answers to the disappearance of his sister, but something dark and malevolent has taken up residence in the small town, causing the occupants to act in peculiar ways. As the violence begins to escalate, Kirk runs out of time and needs to figure out what's going on before everything is lost. Lenora Elayne tends bar at the edge of town where the patrons aren't tainted by the evil that's taken over Walnut Grove. Her dreams have been haunted by ghosts, and a man promised to save them-what she doesn't expect is a motorcycle-riding, ex-preacher to come to their rescue. Together, with a Native American looking for a fountain of water blessed by an unknown prophet, Kirk and Lenora seek to take the town back from the devil and restore sanity to the population.
