Publisher's Synopsis
Buffy and Angel find themselves in a a fearsome reality where dragons and other monsters of fairytale rule. Once they locate each other, they rally the kidnapped teens and attempt to return through the interdimensional portal to Sunnydale. Unbeknown to them, however, they aren't the only interlopers into the other world. Spike and the rogue Slayer, Faith, have followed them into the alternate universe, and each of them has brought their own agenda.
Meanwhile back in Los Angeles, gang violence and vigilantism run rife. The Slayerettes do what they can to hold the fort while they wait for Buffy and Angel to return. But the two ex-lovers are battling with their own uncertainties: now that they know that alternate worlds exist, could there be one where their love has survived unharmed? Worse, when one of their charges is suddenly killed, the portal to Sunnydale closes. And before they can get to grips with ridding their homeworld of supernatural chaos, they've got to find the means that will let them return to it.
