Michael is missing... and time is running out.
Frantic father Chad Newcomb has kidnapped Michael in a desperate bid to save his daughter Katie, who is seriously ill. Newcomb is sure it was Michael who, the previous Christmas, used healing powers to cure sick children in the local hospital. He's got it wrong - Max was the healer, and Katie was one of the children whom he couldn't reach in time. Michael has powers, sure: but healing doesn't happen to be one of them.
Maria, Max, Isabel, Tess and Valenti are hot on Newcomb's trail, until a news reporter's nose for a medical scam leads her to Max, foiling their plans for rescue. And Katie Newcomb is dying... Can they possibly get to the girl, her father and Michael in time?
