The document relies heavily on compliance with good practices as set out in BS5930 "Code of Practice for Site Investigations" and has been written to allow it to be used with all forms of contract.;"Notes for Guidance" are included as a separate volume, written for the non-specialist and providing practical advice. They explain each section of the specification.
