This is special needs support materials for Study Unit 3 in the Key Stage 3 National Curriculum-targeted Schools History Project for the period 1750 to 1900. It is designed to support history teaching with low-attaining or special needs pupils.;The teacher's resource book is accompanied by a 16-sheet picture pack with teaching notes and a pupil's workbook. Together, these elements offer several flexible learning pathways through Britain 1750-1900 to support a wide range of pupils: from those who have severe learning difficulties with reading (for whom the picture pack provides a minimum-entitlement Britain 1750-1900 unit through the use of pictorial source material alone), to those who simply need more structured exercises or simpler source material than their peers are using.;These materials can be used alongside SHP's core textbook, Peace and War or entirely independently.
