Publisher's Synopsis
Gabbie Maldonado is heartbroken when her parents move to a new house, but much to her amazement, she finds a secret doorway that leads into a magical kingdom. The world is strange and fascinating, and just as Gabbie is exploring its myriad delights, she witnesses goblins attacking the unicorns. An evil queen orders her minions, the goblins, to take the unicorn to her castle. When Gabbie is taken prisoner by the humans, she discovers that the queen is drinking the blood of unicorns to gain power and an immortal life. But the death of the unicorns is harming the balance of the magical world, and it is slowly dying. Gabbie has a choice to go back home, or fight with her friends to save their land. Would she risk her life to fight a battle that is not hers? Would Gabbie be able to stop the queen before magic dies?
