In this touching time piece, two sisters who are dark skinned, meet two brothers who are light skinned in early 1990's in South Jamaica, Queens New York. In spite of all of the black race's obstacles including self-hate, drug abuse, prostitution, and murder, they try to find love, safety and God. Their biggest obstacle however, is Capalitana and Chinse McDaniel's father N.Y.C. Correction Captain Ralph McDaniels, who moved his daughters to Long Island hoping that they would never fall for young black men from the ghetto, and who will stop at nothing to keep that from being so... even if it means murder.
