Publisher's Synopsis
In this portrayal of street life in New York, the central character, Jo-Jo Peltz, makes a living selling papers on Times Square. He is trying to leave behind him a life of drug dependency, and in his attempt to find a home for himself and his pregnant wife, he has to face arson and death.
