On the morning after her wedding, Riley and her sister are abducted. The kidnapper plans to use them as bait to draw out their father to kill them all in an act of revenge. Riley must use her investigative skill and cunning to convince the kidnapper that she can help find Eddie Stone's real killer. In Boston alone and up against Irish mob bosses, Riley must rely on the man who plans to kill her to solve a complex murder where no one is who they seem.
Meanwhile, Riley's new husband, Det. Luke Morgan, wakes to find Riley gone. As her family scrambles for answers, they begin a search to find Riley and bring Eddie Stone's killer to justice. Will Riley's father help or hinder their progress to hide his own secrets?
