Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Catholic Fortnightly Review, 1915, Vol. 22
The President of the Catholic Extension Society announces in the Christmas number of Extension, that, while the present need of the missionary sections of the country is for chapels rather than priests, priests are also badly needed, and in a few years, with the beginning already made, the Society will take up the work of educating priests for the missions. This is good news. The Ex tension Society continues to do excellent work. It has become an almost indispensable agency of the Church in America, and we hope and pray that it may prosper in the future even more than it has prospered in the past.
