Burton "Burt" Leon Reynolds Jr., born on February 11th, 1936, Lansing, Michigan, U.S., was an actor, director and producer, who first rose to prominence starring in TV series including Gunsmoke (1962-1965), Hawk (1966), and Dan August (1970-1971). His breakthrough film role was as Lewis Medlock in Deliverance (1972).
