This collection of photographs (187 altogether) was selected by America's leading museum directors and curators for a series of exhibitions called "Photography in the Fine Arts", which took place from 1959 to 1967. It contains the work of over 130 photographers and photojournalists such as Ansel Adams, Robert Capa, Burk Uzzle and Marie Cosindas. This book encapsulates the best of their work - in photographs that epitomize an event, a personality or an era.
