Written by specialist authors, the textbooks present mathematics in contexts appropriate to 11-14 year olds. Clear explanations and "Activity-rich" pages engage students' interest and focus them on the task without relying on off-putting text.
Notes on the three parts of each lesson (oral and mental starter, main teaching activity and plenary) are provided in the accompanying Teacher's Resource, as are Task sheets, which the students can fill in, for use during the main activity.
Student Book A covers NC levels 2-4, with particular emphasis on Level 3. Formula One Maths Gold is designed for use as a stand-alone course or to underpin the main Formula One Maths course.
