Publisher's Synopsis
This resource presents case studies of design in action as a stimulus for D & T work at Key Stage 3. The material takes real examples of design covering topics, like the decks of the Mary Rose or the streets of Bangladesh, and then draws from them a range of activities to be used as short design tasks or as a basis for extended project work for students of all abilities. Each case study is fully referenced to the National Curriculum to help teachers with monitoring and assessment. This resource file of photocopiable sheets is designed to support and extend the ideas in the pupil's book, and also provides teacher's notes and help in seeking further information. The material may also be used by pupils working independently of the teacher.
