Olive oil production for the important countries of the Mediterranean Basin, excluding Greece, is estimated at about million pounds by the French expert Prof. Bonnet, according to Consul A. Cameron at Pfris, quoting the December 1 bulletin of the Agricultural Information Office (official). Professor Bonnets figures give the oil equivalent of the estimated crop available for pressing.
