Bromley Parish is bounded by no less than eight Others. It contains about three thousand acres of land, Of which three hun dred and fifty were coppice wood, and two hundred and fifty waste land, in I 798. Formerly there was much more woodland, nearly a third Of the parish having been so occupied about the middle of the seventeenth century.
