Temperatures were somewhat lower than during the earlier part of the month. The first fall of snow, early in the week, was reported much heavier in some of the surrounding areas.
Winter wheat and other fall sown grains have emerged with good stands, and conditions remain favorable for these creps as winter weather begins.
