Osservazioni. È fuori dubbio che la Mitra nodosa bors. Rappresenta individui giovani della forma in esame; quindi per quanto tale determinazione sia falsa nel genere, fondata su esemplari giovani e dimenticata per oltre 70 anni, io non dubito che la si debba adottare, tanto più che è basata su figura e diagnosi. È curioso notare come nel 1837 il sowerby nel suo lavoro Tertiary fossils from Cutch abbia denominato una forma simile a questa in esame come Str. Nodosus, nome che cangio in Str. Econo dosas Sacc.
Il materiale esaminato era rappresentato da parecchie centinaia di esemplari.
