ON the completion of The People's Music Book, we wish to add a few words in explana tion of the design of the work, and the principle and object which we have pursued in carry ing it into effect. The design of the publisher, as stated in his original announcement, was, to produce a work which should meet the growing demand for music among all classes of the community.
