The Trumbull locality is near the summit of Long or Skag-me-wamp Hill, a rounded knoll which rises about 200 feet from the banks of Pequannock River, at a point near the tracks of the Bridgeport branch of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, and about one third of a mile north of the station of Long Hill.
