Joseph Belcher was married to Abigail (born in Bos ton, November 25, daughter of Benjamin and Susanna (kirtlan'd Tompson, of Braintree and Roxbury, on March -4 Mr. Tompson was a noted school master, as well as a physician and a poet, and was a graduate of Harvard College in the Class of 1662.
